Daily Dose of Quarantine Cats: Thursday, March 24, 2020

These are difficult times. Our crew wants to help so I’m going to try to regularly post brief video snippets from the assorted four-footed residents of our house including our pets, fosters, the ferals, our dog, and occasional guests.

Today’s clip features our two newest foster kittens, five month old siblings, Stefano DiMera and Spencer Cassadine. They’ve been with us since March 2 so they are almost six months old. This is a longer clip because it has a lot of meaning – they’ve been quite sick since they arrived and basically, just lay around their crate. Their activity level has been very low given their youth. As they’ve improved, I’ve been introducing new toys into their crate and here you can see they start playing with a ball chaser I added. Now pretty much every toy ends up in the litter pan or their water bowl, but it is a joy to see them playing. They have a ways to go to act like typical six month old kittens, but I’ll take this.
