Everything You Need to Know About Pride and Pridefest in Pittsburgh

I wrote this post listing over 50 regional events tied to Stonewall and Pride.  Please feel free to make suggestions for us to add to this – leave a comment on this post.

Here is the link to People’s Pride. The #AMPLIFY Project is proud to be a Bronze Sponsor. I hope to see you on Sunday at the March or at the Festival. The link will take you to the map, the march route, the expectations, the vendors, the sponsors, the contact people, etc.

And that, my readers is all you need to know. Go to People’s Pride because you want to walk toward something beautiful, uplifting, celebratory, accessible, representative, and … fun. Cop a squat in the park with a blanket or a chair or in the grass. Bring some food, buy food from local vendors, enjoy the music. Buy some merch aka Pride gear from local vendors who support this Pride. Walk around, take the T, ride your bike, bring your family.

Or you can go to walk away from corporate greed and destructive violent trauma within our community. Either way, it is both personal and political.

Tag me on Twitter or Facebook if you are there are Sunday and come say hello – I’m just sitting in a chair, no booth or table. Ledcat and I will be glad to see you.

And that is all that you need to know. Happy Pride!
