Angel Elisha Walker was last seen by a Salisbury officer Oct 30th driving west away from the city on Highway 150. Her car was found Sunday in the opposite direction, east of Fayetteville in Sampson County. Her 2000 Pontiac Sunfire had been burned badly making identification impossible until Monday.

Walker is 20 years old, 5’8?, 120 pounds, with “light brown skin complexion,” according to law enforcement. Anyone with information is asked to call the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office at 704-216-8683.

Both Planet Transgender and Elixher are reporting that the mainstream media has ignored this situation and been misgendering Angel. This is horrible enough when someone is dead – but when they are MISSING, the public needs accurate information to help prevent another tragic death. QNotes a North Carolina based queer publication has more detail.

Finding Angel is one reason I continue to point out situations where the local LGBTQ community and the media disregard the trans community. Trans lives matter. Finding Angel alive is one way to make that true. Please share this with everyone you know in North Carolina. That helps.
