I was inspired by Instagram creator poxxa_ponnyo to watch some offbeat movies this spooky season.
The Fall of the House of Usher – a 1960 American Gothic horror film directed by Roger Corman and starring Vincent Price. Yes, Vincent Price is amazing. This lush film featured 1960’s bedroom decor that I loved.
LESBIANS – The Vampire Lovers – The Vampire Lovers is a 1970 Gothic horror film directed by Roy Ward Baker and starring Ingrid Pitt as the seductive vampire Carmilla Karnstein. This film is the first entry in Hammer’s Karnstein Trilogy, followed by Lust for a Vampire and Twins of Evil (both 1971)
Devil Girl From Mars (1954) – As soon as I saw the image, I was sucked in – much like Santa Claus Conquers the Martians.
I added the Paul Lynde Halloween Special from 1976 just for kicks
