26 Year Old Drag Artist Missing from Canton, Ohio

Ryan “JJ” Godbey was seen on June 19, 2025 departing a local LGBTQ club, Darlin’s Crew. They were a regular performer.

Note – I am unsure how JJ identifies so I am using gender neutral pronouns.

JJ’s family grew worried the next day when they didn’t show up for a performance at a local queer prom. That’s when Darlin’s Crew staff reviewed footage and noticed JJ was with a stranger. Family contacted law enforcement and a missing person’s report was created.

According to family, JJ is epileptic, but their meds were found in their apartment that also showed signs of a struggle.

Reportedlly, family requested a welfare check, the apartment showed obvious signs of a struggle. Their ID and debit card were also found on the side of the highway. JJ’s ex and a woman were arrested on June 24, charged with charged with criminal trespass and aggravated possession of drugs. Both are held on bond.

Family and friends have created a FB group:Missing Ryan Godbey Discussion And Updates

Anyone with any information regarding the whereabouts of Ryan is encouraged to contact the Canton Police Communications Center at 330-649-5800 or the Canton Police Detective Bureau at 330-489-3144.

Family has also made clear that they have not set up a GoFundMe or any sort of crowdfund so please do not donate.

This is a gallery of some pics of JJ. If you have more recent photos both in and out of drag, please share with me.
