Elijah Reviews New Disney Movie ‘Wish’

Elijah has been handling reviews for awhile here. What’s more, I’m switching to embedding Tiktok videos because of the captions.

And then, we were invited to review the new Disney flick ‘Wish.’ I sent the Disney enthusiasts. Still, Elijah’s review focuses on what he saw/heard in the movie as “homage” to the legacy of Disney. He looks far beyond the characters and lyrics to the actual animation devices. I love his take on things. Incorporating the review perspective of a young Black teen in a queer family is important. So we do it as often as we can.

Finally, Elijah is off to the Cultural District tomorrow to see the musical Mrs. Doubtfire. To prepare, he and I are watching the film version today.
