How to Support LGBTQ People in Ukraine

This is a list curated from various sources that I trust. I cannot personally verify each source so I strongly urge you to do your due diligence. But I also urge you to consider donating what you can. The terror of war coupled with the virulent anti-LGBTQ sentiments in the safe haven countries must be overwhelming. Thankfully the infrastructure of these organizations has already unfolded to create safe paths.

Other suggestions directly from LGBTQ organizers in Europe and Asia can be found here.

For people living in the Pittsburgh region, I’d suggest supporting Global Links Ukraine Relief work. They have activated a network of global health and supply chain professionals to support medical services in Ukraine. This is not directly LGBTQ oriented, but Global Links has a solid history of supporting and affirming LGBTQ communities worldwide.
