New #ThingsToDo: a List from Aria, Age 10

Total Lists Submitted: 3

Total Amount Raised for Food Pantry: $30.00

This is our new project #ThingsToDo where we invite youth to create and share a list of things to occupy time and cope with boredom. You’ll fine the details at this link. Your young people are welcome to participate. Here’s the cool thing – in addition to creating a central hub of suggestions for all young people, we have donors who have pledged $10 per list for the Northside Community Food Pantry. So each list helps other kids AND helps neighbors counting on the food pantry.

If you or your kids find these lists helpful or useful, please leave a comment.

Name and Age: Aria, age 10

What ages are you focusing on with these suggestions?  8-11

Please list 10 ways kids and youth can keep themselves busy and avoid boredom.

1. Go outside and play
2. Watch “How to Toon” on Youtube every weekday
3. Do some drawing or other art project
4. Bake some cookies
5. Go for a walk
6. Write a letter or video chat a friend
7. Smash rocks with a hammer
8. Start a lemonade stand [Dad’s note: No.]
9. Solve some riddles
10. Ask someone their hobby then try to learn that
11. Get a Pen Pal

Thank you, Aria.
