Meet the Zodiac Sisters, 3 Adoptable Kittens #PghCatLadies

Meet the Zodiac Sisters – Gemini, Libra, and Virgo

They were born outside (homeless) and were rescued by their foster mom. They are a little bashful, but sweet and friendly. They are about 9 months old. They can be adopted separately or together, but please note they prefer homes without children.

This is part of our ongoing series to highlight cats available for adoption through Pittsburgh C.A.T.  They are part of the Homeless Cat Management Team. We are fostering our own #kittencaboodle through Pittsburgh C.A.T. and sponsoring the #CatFoodDrivePgh for feral cat colonies through HCMT.

Pittsburgh Cat Ladies News & Info

  • The #CatFoodDrivePgh continues. We urgently need donations of cat food from our Amazon list or directly at our drop-off spots or financially. These donations are specifically for the caretakers with feral cat colonies – the folks who feed everyday, but also TNR and find homes and take in new homeless kitties.

Meet Gemini

Domestic Medium Hair, Good in a home with other cats, Prefers a home without children

Gemini

My name is Gemini and we already have something in common: we both love cats! Yep, I am fond of felines, keen on kitties, and caring of cats. I would make a great addition to a household with another playmate (or two). In fact, my ideal forever home would have at least one cat for me to play with. People are okay and all, but cats are my number one priority. I am a female who gets along great with both female and male cats.

Besides cats I also love to run around and play with my wand toys. Throw a couple of those bad boys around and I just can’t help myself. In fact, this is the best way to get me to come out of my shell. I can be a little shy around new people. I also go bananas for cat nip and treats.

I am about 9 months old, so I am at an age where I really want to play, explore, and be active. I enjoy a nice chin scratch, but I would much rather have a jingle ball to chase around. I do not like to be picked up. My foster mom is working on getting me more comfortable, but I am not convinced, so young children are not in my future. I do not mind dogs who will give me my personal space. If you can give me the home I need, apply today! http://tinyurl.com/pghcatapp

Meet Libra

Domestic Short Hair, Good in a home with other cats, Prefers a home without children

Libra

My name is Libra, and I am one of the Zodiac sisters. I was born outside with my sisters, and we were all alone and scared. Thankfully, we were rescued and taken to our foster mom to grow up and get healthy. I feel very loved for the first time! I love to play with my sisters and my toys, especially spring toys. I really love to be petted and have my ears rubbed! I am still scared to be held, but I am really trying to trust more. I have gotten a lot braver, but I am still a little scared of fast movements and a lot of noise. Just pull out your wand toy, though, and I’ll get interested!

I would best thrive in a quiet home with adults. I like other kitties, but because I’m so nice to other cats, I can be bullied by mean kitties so none of those, please! I haven’t met a dog, but I’d probably be fine with a gentle quiet one who likes cats. I’m looking for a special person who can accept and love me for the shy kitty I am right now, while being patient as I continue to grow and learn to trust. I promise that I will be a really good girl if you can just be understanding! Have the right home for me? Apply today! http://tinyurl.com/pghcatapp

Virgo

My name is Virgo, and I am one of the Zodiac sisters. I love to play with my sisters and my toys, especially jingle balls. I really love to be petted and have my ears rubbed. I am still scared to be held, but I am really trying to trust more.

We were born outside and were all alone when we were rescued by a wonderful lady. She took us to our foster mom where we were able to grow and get healthy. It is so nice to be warm, safe and well fed! I feel loved for the first time, and it is really nice, but I am still a little scared especially with fast movements and a lot of noise. I would best thrive in a quiet adults-only home. I like other kitties as long as they are nice — no bullies, please! I may like a gentle dog if we are introduced slowly. My special person will need to love me the way I am and understand my shyness. If you can be patient with me and give me the time I need to adjust, I will be a good, loving girl! Please don’t forget to send cat food if you are able!
