Throwback Thursday – I Was a Cheerleader in 1982 #tbt

But … I was a cheerleader? Seriously, I was – for one season of midget football (uggghhhh) in 1982. My brother played and for some reason, my parents decided it would be a good thing for me to do. I did not want to, but I also secretly hoped it would transform my life. I remember standing in the front yard of our home with my pompoms “practicing” and wondering if any of the neighbors secretly admired my cheering skills – LOL. I was also very proud of my saddle shoes and polished them diligently.

I was a sad little dork of a cheerleader, but hey – it’s off my bucket list now.

Fall 1982. My first and last "hurrah" - literally.
all 1982. My first and last “hurrah” – literally.
