On August 14, 2025, Los Angeles police discovered the body of Sabrina Gonzales Vasquez at a private residence. In spite of numerous attempts to reach her family, no one has claimed her. Sabrina may possibly have used the name Angel or that may be her deadname.
I use trans in the umbrella context based on the evidence at hand, we don’t know how she identified. The same is true of pronouns. I could be incorrect. But if we get her connected to someone who is missing her, we can make the corrections.
She had brown hair and brown eyes along with multiple tattoos on her torso, neck, and face. No further information is available. You can find the listing on the NamUS database. Case number #UCP150066
If you have information that could help claim Sabrina, please contact Melissa Munoz, Investigator, Notifications at the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, (323) 343-0512.
While all of the posts in this series are sad, there is something particularly hard to know that no one may be looking for someone like Sabrina. Whether that’s due to her identity is impossible to tell, but to just lay there alone waiting … it is heartbreaking.
