After the disastrous spring run of our Political Q&A series, I’ve decided to pull it. If the Mayoral candidates failed to see value in a 10 year labor of love, that says something to other candidates. Maybe I’ll revive it, maybe not.
Still, I really do enjoy the Q&A so exciting news … we are revamping the ‘Seven with Sue (+1)’ series with creators, artists, crafters and the backstage folx across the arts.
‘Seven with Sue (+1)’ tries to keep things brief but interesting. Three or four of the questions will be the same for everyone while the remainder will be tailored to the interviewee.
What about the (+1)? That’s how I sneak in an extra question while leaning on the tradition of bringing a plus one to an event. It is also a nod to my experiences as a disabled person who needs a plus one to attend an event, not as a condescending freebie.
Another exciting twist is that this feature has a sponsor: Bistro-go-Go Catering and Cafe. They are catering so many arts and cultural events, it is a great fit. Hopefully, we’ll be able to distribute tickets down the road.
