Dear artist friends – Persad Center is currently seeking donations of artwork for the #ArtForChange auction in May. This fundraiser (formerly known as Artfor AIDS) supports many of their critical community programs including the Free Care Fund. It is one of the reasons they are in a position to fiscally sponsor projects like #AMPLIFY and many others. Persad doesn’t charge us any admin fees and gives us access to resources like meeting space and more because they value our work. That’s an investment in community work.
I did offer to park the #CatCar in the middle of the gallery for the event, but if someone bids – I might not have a way home. So I’m looking to you to please consider a donation from your original art or your collection.
I know many of your are artists and I hope you will consider investing in Persad and they people they serve.
They also accept sponsorships and items for a silent auction.
