I stayed up too late last night and woke up late, the sort of late start that makes your crotchety and out of sorts for hours until you shake yourself back. I was late enough to have to reschedule an appointment with a very understanding medical provider.
Coffee helped. It is the time of year when I indulge in pumpkin spice flavored creamer, a fusion of flavor passing over my lips like the promises of seasonal adventures to come. Then yogurt. Because …
I caught up on my soaps – Drew survived the shooting and Chelsea survived being kidnapped. Tune in tomorrow.

I bring up Amazon Music and put on a playlist, this time one of my favorites Orleans ‘Dance With Me.’ When Pretty Girl hears it, she starts heading my way.
I’m finally set right back in time with the day. Getting something done that’s been lingering for a long time is a true relief. Having the help of a friend makes it more so.
