My jaw dropped when I saw Burgess and Zober were part of the O’Connor 2.0 Administration
It is like a b-side of the greatest hits of my first decade of blogging. This is the fantasy team of Peduto-Ravenstahl fan folx. Has any out LGBTQ person been appointed beyond Jason Lando? Any progressives on the team?
I cannot believe I’ll be writing about these same folks as I enter my 21st year of blogging. I really miss the Burgosphere – Angry Drunk Bureaucrat, both the Political Junkies, Pittsburgh Comet, Froth, Infinonymous, Null Space, where are thous?
Some of the bureaucrats do not like me. That’s probably why I haven’t been appointed to anything yet. But my phone line is open. I’m here to serve.
For the record, I do not believe any religious honorific has a place in municipal government so I will always refer to Ricky Burgess as Ricky Burgess or Director Burgess or Mr. Burgess. Also, I will always refer to Yarone Zober as Yarone Zober because it is fun to type. Remember this photo circa 2014?
