I’m too tired to even try to write something witty and thoughtful for #NaBloPoMo.
Got up early, drove to Animal Friends to pick up shelters and straw for our pet food pantry folks. Missed the turn. Twice.
Opened back of Gertie to find everything had slid everywhere. Wriggled into Gertie which I’m sure was a great sight for the staff. Wedged and pushed six Styrofoam shelters and bags of straw into the vehicle. Then realized I still had to pick up my groceries.
More wriggling. Lots of cursing, Sympathetic shopper. Dread at the thought that when I open her tomorrow, out will tumble a lot of straw.
Rushed home for telehealth appointment. Unload groceries. Take brief nap. Go out in the dark to feed colonies. Make dinner. Eat dinner while watching BBC News. Work on pet pantry stuff.
Talk with friend. Make notes on all to be done tomorrow.
That’s it.
