I’m on my own for the next five days – just me and the cats. And the groundhogs. Raccoons. Possum. A few noisy neighbors.

Today, I had therapy, followed by a turkey sandwich piled high with lettuce. When I got up to get a napkin, Coco – the turkey obsessed demon – dragged it onto the sofa. I found her struggling with the lettuce as I salvaged my lunch.
She’s relentless. I distracted her with a potato chip while I finished my share of the sandwich.
Then I worked on a blog post reviewing a musical. Talked with Marie for a while about the pet food pantry.
I washed cat beds. I ate Lucky Charms for dinner. Coco was full, so I didn’t find her face down in the bowl of oat milk. Caught up on my soaps. Started a few draft blog posts. Sent request around to organize pet food drives.
Visited the colony cats. Watered the mums. I think one needs more soil.
Fed everyone supper.
Tomorrow, I’ll get back to my usual routine. Dishes, clean something, oh and I’m taking an online class through Pitt’s Lifelong Learning project – I won a scholarship.
Tomorrow’s class is about Immigration Law. I figured that would be useful, perhaps even helpful. My other class is on Authoritarianism and Education. I was pleased that I was already familiar with most of the material. I guess I read the right things.
