Northsiders, Put a ‘Protect Trans Kids’ Yard Sign Near Your Home Today!

If you’ve been following the story of the O’Donnell-Collar family, you know that in the face of years of hate-driven harassment – they want to focus on affirming trans youth, BIPOC youth, and all LGBTQ families. Ke’Juan is a 15-year-old Black trans girl and the family member most recently targeted by their neighbor and she has been brave throughout it all. She specifically wants to reach other trans kids to let them know they are also not alone.

Pittsburgh LGBTQ Charities has partnered with CommonWealth Press to honor Ke’Juan’s wish to spread this message around the Northside and Pittsburgh. You can request a sign at bit.ly/ProtectTransKidsSigns

They cannot be mailed, but there are window signs available. We are accepting donations to print additional signs, but that is optional. You can also donate to provide signs for other spaces. These were designed with her family’s input and approval. We really want to see them all over the Northside, especially Observatory Hill, Perry Hilltop, etc.
