Forget the Glory Days – Make a New List

What are your thoughts on aging? How will you stay young at heart as you get older?

They say you are growing old (or dying) when you start creating bucket lists. So let’s give it a shot

Five Things I Want To Do Before I Turn Fifty (in 6.5 years)

  1. See the Pacific Ocean in person
  2. Walk a half-marathon
  3. Learn how to use the food processor
  4. Find a nice church home
  5. Make a new list

I take my advice from Bruce Springsteen – sitting around sharing boring stories of “Glory Days” – no thank you. FYI, this is a rare recording with a third verse talking about what happens to people who face the stigma of being old in the workforce.
