Toys for Tots Update – Fayette County

As noted earlier in the week, information on Pittsburgh Toys for Tots distributions can be found here.

December 7 is the final day for Fayette County residents to sign up for Toys for Tots.

The last sign-up for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves Toys for Tots program in Fayette County will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Dec. 7 at Uniontown Mall. Toys will be given to children through age 12 who are residents of Fayette County. To register, applicants must bring these items: EBT/medical card for parent and children, proof of birth date for the children, photo identification for the parent registering children, ACCESS card and proof of Fayette County residency. Do not call Uniontown Mall for sign-up information. There is no phone registration for the Toys for Tots program.

You may recall that the Fayette County Food Bank suffered extensive damage and loss of food inventory because of recent flooding. They are not accepting donations of food at this time, but it is a good time to keep in mind our neighbors.  According to the Post-Gazette, Fayette County is the second poorest county in Pennsylvania.  We’ll be sure to update you on efforts to assist the food bank.
