Four Ways to Support the Pgh Dyke and Trans March

The Pittsburgh Dyke and Trans March is coming up on Saturday June 21 in Bloomfield.  Schedule of events at the end of this post.

Hope to see you there – wrap up Pride with a great community building event that claims visibility for queer women and the trans community. Here’s how you can show your support.

1. Make a sign. Are you proud to be a dyke? Want to make the “T” more visible? Make a statement? Show off your art skills? Good with a creative pun? Make a sign. Make two. Bring with you to the meet and greet and share. Or bring some supplies so other can make signs.

2. Donate water. It is going to be 84 degrees on Saturday. Can you contribute a case of water? If so, drop me a line and we can arrange for someone to pick it up. One local wig boutique called us and donated some water! How cool. Can you help make sure everyone is hydrated?

3. Bring something for the potluck picnic. A dish to share, your secret recipe, even some snacks.
